We believe being well-rounded and knowledgeable is the key to being safe on the mountain, which is why we offer our advanced athletes, certification in Avalanche Skills Training (AST Level 1). This 2 day certification course is put on by the Canadian Avalanche Association and followed up with a snowboard adventure into some of BC's most amazing backcountry.
As a Club fundraising initiative, parents, friends or athletes of the Club are welcome to use a pair of our snowshoes and trekking poles for the day. Snowshoes are available any weekend! Want to snowshoe while your athlete is snowboarding? Need to hike up the mountain to watch the event or take pictures? Make it easy and fun! We happily accept a donation of $10 per day.
****All proceeds go toward mountain safety training for our athletes!****
Register online and sign the waiver. We are not responsible for any injuries or mishaps associated to the use of our snowshoes. This is purely for the enjoyment of our people! Click below and get outside!
